Voice Acting (My Current Experience)

I've just recently started getting into researching and understanding the business behind Voice Acting. Unsurprisingly, it's like all other talent careers where those who show up, are professional, and put their all into their craft are rewarded splendidly. However, it's a much easier industry to take advantage of. Since you can be an actor in the comfort of your home, many sites like Voices.com are quick to take your money and get you started as a Premium voice actor. You aren't allowed to even audition for roles without making an annual payment of $500. After listening to some reviews and opinions of other voice actors, it became clear that pay-2-play had a big presence online. Of course, this isn't anything new. There are tons of "talent" agencies out there who want to guarantee your success, even though they don't have much to show for it. Definitely rely on reviews when looking for a talent agency. Youtube: Is it too late to start?

Ever since Youtube started garnering some traction back in 2006, people have always said it's too late to start a Youtube Channel. Either the market is super saturated or the returns take too long or something of the like. While it may take more work now than it did when the platform was fresh, it still requires the same things as other platforms: Consistency Creativity Confidence (No I did not intend for all of those to be C words.) But anyways, it's true. You nee to know what you're doing and why you're starting up a youtube channel (or anything for that matter). Once you've nailed that down, it shouldn't be too hard to dream up some wild ideas if you're passionate about it. Creativity isn't a difficult subject because no one thinks the way you do.
